Verwood U3A Digital Camera Forum
Meetings held at Verwood Hub See programme page for details
The forum Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays 10.30am until 12 noon throughout the three terms. We also meet at times during the holiday periods for special events or trips. This group consists of people who have at least a basic knowledge and understanding of photography. Anyone who has attended the ‘Digital Photography Introductory Course’ or has a similar level of knowledge will be comfortable in this forum. The forum group tend to discuss photographic methods as well as displaying images that they have taken ready for the group to discuss. We do not hold competitions and we are non critical in our feedback. New developments in photography are explored as are the techniques of the ever evolving aspects of digital photo editing. We try to be as ‘hands on’ as we can and we agree themes for a period and then display our interpretation of the theme. It is amazing how many different approaches individuals can take on a theme. A significant aspect of the group is ‘self help’. We have various levels of knowledge and skill in the group and we are always ready to pass that on to each other.
